Senior Syndication Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Syndication Specialist, a seasoned professional, is responsible for leading the syndication process and ensuring the successful execution of complex transactions. This role demands extensive experience in the fintech sector, with a proven track record of building and nurturing relationships within a global network of investors.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Spearhead the entire syndication process, from origination to closure, demonstrating expertise in deal structuring, pricing, documentation, due diligence, and investor reporting.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with syndicate partners, investors, and stakeholders, leveraging your extensive industry network.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including credit, risk, legal, and operations to orchestrate seamless syndication transactions.
  • Provide strategic insights on market trends, investment opportunities, and competitive landscape to guide decision-making.
  • Ensure alignment of syndicated transactions with the company's strategic goals and financial objectives.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of syndicated loans, delivering comprehensive reports to senior management.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior syndication team members.
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Significant experience 5+ years in syndication, investment banking, or related areas.
  • Series 7 License.
  • Existing book of business.
  • Raised $2M+ previously.
  • Background in private market and Broker-Dealer experience.
  • Proven history of successful deal execution and relationship-building.
  • Ability to demonstrate a creative, flexible, resourceful, and disciplined approach to driving a complex mission-driven investment program Travel required
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and due diligence processes.
  • Exceptional networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
